Emmerdale viewers watched in horror tonight as Charity Dingle was issued a chilling warning from her rapist.
Nasty DI Bails, who sexually abused vulnerable Charity when she was just 14-years-old, told her he was "untouchable".
The paedophile copper reacted badly when his victim threatened to expose his dark past unless he backed off from Tracey Metcalfe.
Charity reluctantly confronted Bails after realising Tracy may be in danger when she entered the house with the predator.
Bails seemed nervy when he realised Tracy’s sister was dating Charity so made a quick exit, only to be followed outside by her.
"I know who you are. I know what you did to me," said Charity as she warned him to stay away from vulnerable girls.
But Bails insisted she was still angry for being sent down for the Home Farm fire and tried to defend his sick actions.
Bails asked: "So you’re still a scrappy little tart are you? No you’ve grown up and moved on. So have I."
Charity seemed taken aback as Bails admitted: "I’m telling you this for our own good. You can’t touch me."
She sternly warned him that he needs to do what she says or the copper will "get what’s coming to him".
Fed up with playing games, Bails decided to turn up the heat and issued a worrying threat.
Bails said: "You want to take me on? I’d break you into little pieces. And you know I can."
Later on tonight, Bails will give Charity a shocking proposition in a bid to buy her silence.
Will Charity accept his offer?
