Outlander: Jamie sees Claire in vision he has after battle
Fans were left disappointed when Outlander season six was delayed by the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. However, lockdown has also proved a perfect opportunity for viewers to rewatch the romantic series from the start. For those wanting to jump in at their favourite moments, here’s everything you need to know about when Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) first said ‘I love you’.
When did Claire and Jamie first tell each other ‘I love you’?
Jamie and Claire were thrown together in Outlander in mysterious circumstances.
Claire first arrived in Jamie’s time when she fell through the stones at Craigh na Dun.
The nurse travelled from her own time of 1746 straight into Jamie’s arms in the 1700s.
From here, their relationship grew more complicated as they were forced to marry in order to keep Claire safe.

Along with these treacherous circumstances, romance also slowly grew between the pair.
Over the course of five seasons so far, fans have watched them go through heartbreak, assault and many years apart.
Therefore, viewers wanting to reminisce on their relationship might be curious about when they first confirmed their love for one another.
The magical moment came in season one, episode 12, which was called Lallybroch.
Fans will remember how this outing follows Claire and Jamie as they make their way to Jamie’s family home.
This episode is just after they are reunited once again following Claire’s traumatic witch trial.
Claire then admitted to Jamie how she was actually from the future, revealing the truth about what happened to her.
Her husband then gave her the choice to return back to her own time as he took her back to Craigh na Dun.

However, this was not what Claire wanted as she made the life-altering decision to stay with Jamie.
In Lallybroch they return to Jamie’s ancestral home and meet his sister Jenny Murray (Laura Donnelly).
Things do not go as planned with their reunion as there are a lot of hurt feelings between the siblings.
However, learning more about Jamie’s family, Claire grows closer to him than ever before.
In the penultimate scene of the episode, the pair finally admit they are in love with each other.
Jamie said: “I wanted you from the first moment I saw you.
“But I loved you when you wept in my arms that first night at Leoch.
“Now I wake up every day and I find I love you more than I did the day before.”
Claire then returned his sentiments and replied: “I love you.”
