Max George and Strictly partner Dianne Buswell look closer than ever as they leave It Takes Two filming

MAX George and his Strictly partner Dianne Buswell looked closer than ever as they were spotted leaving It Takes Two filming.

The pair were the latest pair to leave the show on Sunday, and appeared on the Strictly spin-off show to talk about their time on the series.

The dance couple looked cosy as they left the BBC studios with their arms around each other.

Dianne, 31, who is dating former contestant Joe Sugg, looked happy and relaxed in Max's company.

The Aussie redhead was seen gently resting her head on The Wanted star's shoulder.

Max, 32, who is in a relationship with Stacey Giggs, smiled on as he strolled out of the studio cuddled up to Dianne.

They were then seen getting into the same car and driving off.

The duo appear to have formed a close bond during their time on the show.

Their appearance comes after Strictly faced a fix row after fans claimed Max was kicked off for swearing live on TV.

Show host Claudia Winkleman was forced to apologise on Saturday after Max screamed "f***ing get in" in a live TV blunder.

Max appeared to forget where he was after he completed his impressive American Smooth with professional dance partner Dianne Buswell on Strictly and was heard swearing during their closing move.

He then landed in the bottom two with co-star Maisie Smith and her partner Gorka Marquez despite their impressive doll-themed routine.

The two couples had to dance again in Sunday night's results show – with Max being sent home.

But the leaderboard and the show result left viewers baffled and they shared their frustration on Twitter.

One raged: "Sorry but the BBC have 100% rigged that because of Max swearing on last night's show, and putting him up against Maisie being an unbelievably capable dancer, they knew he had no chance of staying in. They shouldn’t have turned his mic on anyway!"

On Saturday, the judges were accused of undermarking the EastEnders star after three of her competitors got their first 10s of the series.

Shirley Ballas shocked viewers when she awarded HRVY with full marks, which she went on to dish out to Clara Amfo and Bill Bailey.
