I’m A Celebrity’s Tony Bellew reveals why he retired from his dangerous career in boxing: ‘My body stopped me’ Meet this year’s campmates I’m A…
Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) and Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) come to blows in a new Coronation Street spoiler video after an epic betrayal comes to light.
Brian is preparing to move in with Mary temporarily, after losing the electricity in his apartment. Mary tells him only to pack the essentials, but what he sees as essential is very different to the rest of us.
Among the collection of items is a signed Roxanna script, which Mary is quick to open, and all goes downhill from there.
Tucked within the pages is a review written by Brian, only it doesn’t have his name on it.
The review belongs to Quinton De Santos, a critic for the Weatherfield Gazette. At least, that’s what Mary previously believed.
Quinton had reviewed Mary’s star turn in the local AmDram production, giving it more praise than was probably deserved.
However, it appears that maybe the review didn’t come from a critic at all, but Brian himself.
Mary is horrified to learn of his betrayal, believing that Brian had pulled a practical joke.
Brian is insistent that that wasn’t his motivation. Instead, he claims that he believed they deserved some ‘praise in print’ and that a professional critic wouldn’t have been ‘half so generous’.
It is then that Mary decides she’s not feeling very generous anymore either, and that Brian should find somewhere else to stay.
Have Brian’s lies ruined their friendship for good?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday February 13 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
