Love Island fans were unhappy with the scenes aired on Sunday, July 9, as Movie Night lived up to its reputation.
Viewers had claimed they were going to contact Ofcom after the show aired on Sunday night, with multiple causes for backlash taking place on the show.
Movie Night exposes islanders' antics for all to see, from Casa Amor revelations to comments made behind other peoples' backs.
Multiple fall-outs occurred throughout the episode, but two specific moments had fans up in arms as they rushed to Twitter to complain about the antics.
One controversial moment surrounded Scott Van Der Sluis, Catherine Agbaje and Leah Taylor after it was revealed that Scott cheekily said to the boys he probably won't miss Catherine once the Casa Amor girls arrived.
Scott had told Catherine he'd stayed loyal throughout his time at Casa Amor which sparked fury from her as she stated he hadn't been loyal.
The girls then suggested that Scott was only single at the recoupling because "no one wanted him", with Scott immediately hitting back at Leah after her comments.
He told her it was the first time she'd spoken in four weeks and while some deemed his comments unnecessary, many fans rushed to support Scott after he was told no one wanted him.
