Love Island fans were left absolutely fuming as Sunday night's episode ended on a massive cliffhanger.

It came as new bombshell Rachel Finna was forced to make her choice between coupling up with cheeky chappie Brad McClelland and new boy Chuggs Wallis.

As Rachel prepared to reveal which boy she had chosen to save, she said: "This has not been easy in the slightest.

"I think you're both amazing guys in every single way. I can't fault either of you for absolutely anything."

She continued: "I would like to couple up with this boy because I feel we have a very similar take on life, we can talk about anything, he's made me feel comfortable, he's made me feel sexy.

"He's made me feel f***ing great. I'm excited to see where things go," Rachel added.

"So the boy I'd like to couple up with is…"

But ITV love to tease their audience, as the end credits immediately began to roll before Rachel could reveal who she had chosen.

And furious viewers swarmed social media to share their frustration at the cliffhanger, with one writing: "Love Island I f***ing hate you for that cliffhanger!"

Another ranted: "I'm so p***ed, please stop using THE SAME CLIFFHANGER!", as a third echoed: "Sending an Ofcom complaint for Love Island daring to use another cliffhanger one week into a series where nothing moderately exciting has happened."

Another social media user couldn't resist adding: "How can you do the exact same cliffhanger twice in a row? Don't you people have more imagination?"

And someone else quickly tweeted: "One more cliffhanger and I'm done!"

It comes as Rachel's choice also made up the cliffhanger ending for Friday's episode, as the show teased which boy she would pick after she entered the villa as a bombshell.

But it was later revealed that she would have 24 hours to choose between the lads, leaving the two of them vying for her affections in a bid to stay in the game.

And plenty of fans are certain that Brad is just stringing Rachel along in order to remain in Majorca and avoid getting dumped, as he said she was exactly "his type" while chatting to her.
