Loose Women's Denise Welch looks amazing at 64 as she strips to her underwear after taking up weight training | The Sun

LOOSE Women panelist Denise Welch showed off her impressive figure as she stripped to her underwear, leaving very little to the imagination.

The 64 year old star, who became a firm favourite on daytime TV with her strong opinions on the ITV show, posted a picture of herself in a matching black lingerie.


She teamed her scantily clad look with a pair of white trainers. Denise captioned her post saying: "Keeping up my weight training and healthy eating."

In another post, the star, who is also a famed actress, is seen battling through a gruelling training regime, informing fans that she had now embarked on a weight training programme.

Sharing her enviable confidence with fans, Denise recently posted a picture of herself in a green and white swimsuit last month, as she soaked up the sun while holidaying in Dubai.

She captioned the post saying: "Not bad weather for a February night!"

And Denise's showbiz pals were quick to comment on her sultry post. Presenter Jenny Powell wrote: "Girl you are on fire!! Don't lend that swimsuit to Lincoln."

Her Loose Women co-star Katie Piper added: "Teach me to pose when you get back."

Back in October last year, Denise was incredibly candid when she revealed that her addiction to drugs and alcohol became so bad she should never have been on TV at times.

She said: "If  I was away from home, I would be awake all night and go straight to work. That wouldn’t happen now on TV shows."

She added: "There were times when I shouldn’t have even been on. But it was a different time.”

The TV star said that her drink and drug abuse spiralled out of control when she starred in Coronation Street. She landed the role of Natalie Barnes in 1997.

She said: "My drinking really started to be a problem during the Coronation Street times. I had always loved a party."

Denise then said: "But that was getting p***ed on a Saturday night and feeling rough on a Sunday. I didn’t have a problem."

She continued:; "When I was doing Corrie it was watched by 21million people an episode. That is a third of the country. There is a lot of f***ing pressure on you for that."

Denise suffered with depression and claims that she masked her illness with booze and drugs.

She added: "But the horrible isolating thing about depression is you have an invisible illness. And that is when the alcohol started and that is when the drugs started."
