Kim Kardashian says taking care of Kanye West during Covid-19 battle was 'so scary' as marriage remains on the rocks

KIM Kardashian has admitted that taking care of Kanye West as he battled coronavirus was "scary and unknown."

Rapper Kanye revealed earlier in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with coronavirus in February, and wife Kim has now opened up on how she was the only one who could look after him – while also living with their four children.

"Kanye had it way at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on," Kim told Grazia magazine.

"It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no-one else in the house to help.

"I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good. It was a challenge because it was so unknown."

The 39-year-old added: "Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time."

Kanye revealed his diagnosis in an interview with Forbes in April, telling the publication that he suffered from "chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers," and that he kept "looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it."

"I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was Drake can’t be sicker than me!"

Kim and Kanye have had a tough 2020 as they have also been coping with Kanye's public mental health breakdown and battling with their own crumbling marriage.

But the pair have tried to put it behind them and Kim recently shared a picture of their family smiling, writing: "Be thankful, smile more, spend more time with family and don’t stress the small things.

"This is our one chance at life. Don’t let anyone or anything take away your happiness."

Last week, Kanye also tweeted a picture captioned: "Dinner for 2", and the snap appeared to be of a table at an outdoor restaurant.
