Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has teased that her former colleague Piers Morgan delved into all aspects of her life in her upcoming episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.
The star who is getting ready to replace Piers on the show shared insight into what viewers can expect from her hour-long chat with the outspoken host which will air on ITV on Sunday night.
Speaking to co-host Ben Shephard on GMB, Kate confessed: "He delved all over the place.
"He delved into my past, exes, career stuff. He has a massive, massive research team."
Kate, 54, also mentioned that the interview felt fairly long, as they were conversating for quite some time.
She explained: "You do these interviews and they’re very long so I generally don’t know what will be shown.
"I didn’t realise quite how many hours had gone past," she explained.
A clip was then played of Piers asking Kate about her untidy habits and her messy car, which lead Kate to admit that her husband Derek Draper once sat on a piece of brie while in her vehicle.
Chiming in, Kate then exclaimed: "There’s a lot of fascinating stuff in this interview, not just this!"
For the upcoming winter line-up, ITV announced in November that broadcaster Kate will take over from Piers as the host of three new episodes of Life Stories.
The one-hour programmes will focus on the lives of some of Britain's most famous faces and will delve deep into their life and their career.
Speaking about her new position, Kate said: "I’ve always loved having the chance to talk to people, both on air and off.
"Everyone has a story to tell and the wonderful thing about this show is that you have the airtime to delve into the areas of guests’ lives that the viewers might not know about already."
Piers previously presented ITV's Life Stories for an incredible 12 years before he revealed that he will be handing the show over to Kate.
Tweeting about his departure in October, Piers, 56, said: "I’m quitting Life Stories after 12 years and 100 shows.
"My final one will be with my fabulous friend @kategarraway and she will then present the remaining 3 planned shows of the next series as I leave ITV to host my new global daily show. It’s been a blast!"
