Emmerdale star James Moore couldn’t be happier after celebrating a year since his first appearance in the soap as Ryan Stocks – and has enthused to Metro.co.uk that he has ‘made best friends for life’ since joining the show.
Explaining that his life has changed forever, it’s clear he is happy to stick around which is music to the ears of fans – who voted him as Best Newcomer in the recent National Television Awards earlier in the year.
As we caught up with him on the red carpets at the British Soap Awards, where he was also shortlisted for the newcomer prize, he also dropped some hints on Ryan’s future, saying the tension between Ryan and Dawn (Olivia Bromley) may well get worse due to thearrival of her dad Will (Dean Andrews).
But there is plenty of lightness to come too as he continues to have scenes in the Woolpack and with mum Charity (Emma Atkins).
A year to the day – and already Emmerdale just wouldn’t be the same without James or Ryan.
