In Thursday’s EastEnders, Keegan Baker (played by Zack Morris) told his mum Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) and sister Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) he wanted to leave Walford and stay with brother Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters). However, will the entire Taylor clan decide they need a fresh start and leave the square with the entrepreneur?
Bernie was left devastated when she spotted what she thought was Rainie Highway (Tanya Franks) meeting with a drug dealer.
The crushed mum-to-be told Karen she wasn’t sure whether going through the surrogacy was a good idea despite Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) telling Bernie his claims Rainie had fallen off the wagon was a mistake.
She said: “I saw her give money to her dealer what else could it be?”
“I don’t know, Mitch said Mick made a mistake that she wasn’t using again,” Karen replied.

“You didn’t want me to do this, I should have listened to you mum,” Bernie said.
“You need to talk to Rainie,” Karen urged and her daughter hit back: “How do I know if she’s lying to me?”
She answered: “Your hormones are all over the place and by working yourself up that isn’t going to do baby any good.”
“How can I give her my baby now?” Bernie replied as Karen looked visibly worried about her daughter’s use of the phrase “my baby”.
“It’s mad out there I think someone’s overdosed,” Keegan announced walking into the Queen Vic.
“Is it Rainie?” Bernie asked and her brother replied: “No it’s Dotty’s mum.”
“What’s up with you?” Karen asked her son who said: “Nothing I’m fine. I saw Tiff before and she wouldn’t even look at me – it’s like she’s everywhere I go.”
“I know love maybe you just need to give her a bit of space,” his mum suggested.
“I spoke to Keanu and he said I could stay with him if I want,” Keegan announced.
“I don’t mean just up and leave,” Karen remarked and he replied: “I think I need to go mum.”

She said: “We need you here,” but Bernie added: “No we’ll be fine mum, forget everyone else, do what’s best for you.”
Will Keegan leave Walford on his own or will the Taylor clan decide they deserve a fresh start too?
Bernie is struggling to come to terms with the surrogacy and Karen may decide the best thing for all of them is to visit Keanu en masse.
The family recently marked the anniversary of the death of Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) may agree with Karen’s plans to get some space from bad memories.
Opening up on Bernie’s feeling towards Rainie, Clair shared: “After Rainie’s behaviour towards the Carters it definitely shows a side of her that Bernie hasn’t seen yet.

“I think that makes Bernie question why she’s acting like that, is she genuinely having a breakdown due to the Abi and Max situation or is this the drugs?”
Clair explained Karen’s worried her daughter has become attached to the baby.
“Karen sees how emotional she is getting,” Clair said. “She refers to the baby as ‘her baby’ without a second thought so there is a very strong attachment.”
Meanwhile, EastEnders spoilers confirm Keegan will clash with Tiffany Butcher’s (Maisie Smith) brother Liam Butcher (Alfie Deegan).
Things will get heated between the pair when Keegan tries to warn his wife her brother cannot be trusted.
EastEnders airs on BBC One on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
