DENISE Fox has been trying to keep her fling with Ravi Gulati a secret as her husband Jack Branning investigates the gangster.

Unfortunately for the hairdresser, her lies begin to unravel next week in EastEnders. What will she do?

Diane Parish's on-screen alter ego embarked on a quick-lived affair with Aaron Thiara's Ravi Gulati in recent weeks.

But she immediately rejected him soon after and he tried to use their romance against her to get information on Jack Branning's investigation.

The copper (Scott Maslen) has remained oblivious to Denise's scheming but the truth catches up with her when his daughter Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) pulls a sickie.

Amy was one of the first Walford residents along with Denzel Danes to figure out that Denise had been unfaithful to her father Jack with Ravi.

She struggles to cope with this recent revelation in scenes airing next week on BBC One.

The teen eventually finds an escape as she secretly drinks while Denise is looking after her at home.

Tipsy, Amy acts out to Denise which prompts the latter's daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) to suggest she's been drinking.

Denise discovers evidence that Chelsea is right and a furious row follows as Amy reveals she knows about her affair with Ravi.

It's only a matter of time before Denise is caught up with the truth in front of Jack and she downplays her actions while she explains what's been going on with Ravi.

This only leads Jack to realise the extent of his wife's deceit and he furiously storms through Albert Square to confront Ravi.

Denise began to feel neglected in her relationship with Jack as he tried to help his daughter Amy amid her mental health and self-harm struggle.

Things all came to a head weeks later when it was revealed that his son, Ricky Branning, was the father of Lily Slater's baby.

After being rejected by Denise, Ravi turned his sights to her daughter Chelsea in an attempt to get to the bottom of Jack's investigation on him.
