Dani Dyer has said while she is ecstatic at her Love Island win, but there was something missing as her family were away when she arrived home.
But things have been made better by her and her new beau, Jack Fincham , watching back their Love Island journey for hours every night.
The former barmaid won Love Island alongside Jack, and while she has found the whole experience "surreal" she has been disappointed to deal with the extreme life change without the presence of her mum and dad, Jo Mas and hardman Danny Dyer.
She told Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway: "They’ve literally gone on holiday on the final two weeks, brilliant timing.
"They didn’t think I was going to last, my dad went, ‘I thought you were going to last half hour,’ so the fact I’ve lasted the whole time and now obviously they’re in Florida, but it’s rained for them so they should have stayed at home!"
Dani then continued that she’s struggled to get used to being back at home after their whirlwind two months in the villa, but her "softie" dad is trying to advise from his holiday.
She continued: "It has been really difficult because it’s such a change of our lives but they [Danny and Jo] ring all the time.
"My dad says, ‘when I come back we’ll have a proper chat.’ He’s gonna guide Jack in the right direction which is nice.
"The thing is my dad is a big softie really and he knows how happy I am with Jack. He will just advise him and be with him… he’s excited to have another boy in the family."
Dani also revealed her boyfriend and father have been texting a lot and talking on the phone, having "normal" conversations, something her father’s "never really been able to do."
She joked about her panic over whether Danny and Jack would get on, but apparently the hardman has told Jack he "loves him" and is even trying to get them to bond over football, signing off his texts with a West Ham F.C. logo to try and convert his potential son-in-law.
But the Love Island Queen has a way of making herself feel better despite her parents’ absence from the home – by watching back her Love Island journey for hours on end.
Dani joked she was going to throw away her pink denim jacket after Kate pointed out it was Dani’s jacket of choice before arguments.
The islander then revealed: "I watched that bit [after the lie detector test].
"I’ve only watched a few episodes here and there, I think because we’ve lived it we won’t watch it from beginning to end but it’s nice when you’re sitting there to just whack a Love Island on.
"Jack says, ‘really Dan, we’ve watched three hours of Love Island?’ And I said, ‘yeah, it ‘s really cringe, isn’t it?’"
"It’s weird watching it all back but it’s lovely to see the journey."
Dani said her and her beau have barely spent any time apart since leaving the villa, and she was able to meet his family as they welcomed her in as "the missing part" of their family unit.

She also said they hope to find a place to live together this week, and she is well prepared for his messiness after he used four towels in the shower and she spent their Love Island journey cleaning up after him.
