CORONATION Street's Andy Whyment revealed his children, 10 and 12, spent their pocket money on buying him a meal at Nando's.
The Kirk Sutherland actor, 39, was gushing with pride at his two kids Thomas and Hollie after they splashed out on dinner for their parents.
Andy shared a picture of the two kids sitting at the table as they awaited their meal.
Then in the next, the Corrie actor showed off his plate of food, including a half chicken with chips and peas.
The star shares his two kids with wife Nicola, who he married in 2007.
Andy – who earned £100,000 from his appearance on I'm A Celebrity and around £125,000 for his soap contract – returned to filming in July after the whole soap had to take a break during lockdown.
The actor has also admitted he doesn't want to leave the soap any time soon.
Speaking about the show in June, he told Martin and Roman Kemp's Sunday Bests: "I grew up watching Corrie. I've always been a massive fan of the show.
"When I first signed, I was assigned for seven episodes – so to think I'm into my 20th year is unbelievable really.
"Every time I drive up to the gates and lift the barrier I get a massive buzz now and every time I get a new contract it's unbelievable."
He added: "It is just a privilege to be there for so long and long may it continue."
