EastEnders’ Rose Ayling-Ellis favourite to win Strictly

Rose Ayling-Ellis is the overwhelming favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing, with bookmaker Coral pricing her at 1-5 to win the series as the show heads towards the semi-finals this weekend.

“David took a couple of weeks off but will be on screen again in a few weeks. Viewers are going to get quite a shock and he’s set to be part of a dramatic storyline.”

Roy had been struggling to come to terms with the fact that the gun Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) obtained to shoot Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) was the same used to kill Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac).

Abi was stopped from shooting Corey by Roy, who ended up covering for her. Nina then failed to convince him to stay.

Emmerdale fans break down in tears as Aaron Dingle leaves the village

EMMERDALE fans are in tears after Aaron Dingle left the village for good.

The mechanic – who is played by actor Danny Miller in the ITV soap – decided he needed to flee the village, abandoning his sister Liv Flaherty, to escape his emotional torment.

Viewers know Liv is being charged with Aaron’s boyfriend Ben Tucker’s murder – though they know Meena Jutla really carried out the crime.

At the court Aaron went to see Liv in a side room – but she insisted she still has no memory of what happened.

It was the final straw for Aaron who decided to leave her to her fate.

“I can’t do this anymore Liv,” he told her.

He added: “I’m tired Liv and it’s not just Ben – it’s everything.

“I’ve had enough. I can’t keep doing this. I tried so hard to be there for you but all you did was push me further and further away.

“I don’t know what I can do for you. I don’t even know if you killed Ben or not.

“Surely that’s a wake up call for us. I don’t see a way to come back from this.”

ANOTHER blunder in Ben Tucker murder investigation

Emmerdale viewers all have the same complaint after spotting ANOTHER blunder in Ben Tucker’s murder investigation.

The character was brutally killed off last month after being battered with a canoe paddle by deranged Meena Jutla.

However, Liv Flaherty has been wrongly arrested and charged his murder, and in Thursday’s double bill, the police revealed they had seen the incriminating video of her arguing with Ben in the hours before his death.

The detectives also told Liv that her DNA had been found under the victim’s fingernails, before referencing the scratch on her neck.

But the moment left some viewers scratching their heads, considering how many other victims serial killer Meena has under her belt already.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “If this is the one time the Police do actually run a DNA test then #Emmerdale really is beyond f***ed.

“Leanna dies after desperately tryna save herself grabbing Meena’s hair – NO DNA test. Andrea, also murdered. Still no DNA test Ben dies, immediately the hunt is on for DNA.”

Beverley Callard: I’m A Celebrity bosses plotted to turn camp ‘nasty’

I’M A Celebrity alumni Beverley Callard has accused show bosses of giving one of her 2020 campmates a bad edit.

Corrie legend Bev appeared in Gwrych Castle last year but believes producers homed in on certain stars more than others.

Speaking to Rylan Clark, both she and her fellow 2020 Castle co-star Vernon Kay also revealed that show bosses had plotted to turn things “nasty”.

Beverley told Rylan’s Ry-Union podcast: “None of us were confrontational, not one of us. Nobody was trying to pull the camera all the time, nobody was moody…

“I think the editing in some way was a little bit unfair because they showed some of lots of people and not very much of other people. But that just goes with the job unfortunately.

“You missed out on the really comedic side of AJ [Pritchard], who is the funniest person, but it didn’t tend to show that side of him apparently.”

Vernon continued: “Beverley’s right, they put together a group of personalities that they knew would get on because there was no friction.

“But I’ve heard from the inside there was a moment in Week 1 when they had a production meeting on how they could possibly turn it nasty.”

She said: “All the girls fancied him so he was really bullied by the boys. There was a little bit of jealousy there from his peers.

“We helped him, Charles who played Jim and I, we helped him with everything, absolutely everything.”

“He hasn’t been in it for a while. He has just vanished!”

Someone else said: “I miss him. He is the best thing about Corrie."

Another fan commented: “Probably just his turn for leave. All characters seem to be on view for a few months, then disappear for weeks – or even months – at a time.”

Although Todd is currently played by Gareth – he wasn’t the first actor to play the iconic character.

From 2001 until 2017, Todd was played by actor Bruno Langley.
