Celebrity Big Brother housemates Rodrigo Alves and Roxanne Pallett missing from the finale

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemates all reunited at the grand finale on Monday night — with two hugely notable exceptions.

The live Channel 5 finale definitely had some awkward moments as enemies Hardeep Singh Kohli and Natalie Nunn had to coexist once again, while Jermaine Pennant came face-to-face with Chloe Ayling after all of their ‘banter’ drama.

However, fans quickly spotted that two famous faces were nowhere to be found when the former housemates were announced by presenter Emma Willis:

The circumstances surrounding Rodrigo Alves’s removal from the Big Brother house still have not been publicly revealed by Channel 5, despite fans demanding to know the truth on social media.

Rodrigo had managed to stay in the house despite using the N-word twice in conversation with other housemates, which later caused thousands of complaints to broadcasting regulator Ofcom. In recent days, he’s been attending events at the Venice Film Festival.

Also missing was Roxanne Pallett, who walked out of the Big Brother house last week amid a nationwide scandal over her allegations that fellow housemate Ryan Thomas repeatedly punched her.

Roxanne has since publicly apologised for making those claims, telling Emma Willis after her departure: “I can’t apologise enough for trying to label someone as something that they’re clearly not. All I can do is apologise and say I got it so wrong.”

Celebrity Big Brother may be ending but civilian Big Brother will be launching this Friday night (September 14) at 9pm on Channel 5, followed by Rylan Clark-Neal with the return of Bit on the Side at 11pm.
