Food Network show host Ina Garten is known for her incredible kitchen skills. Barefoot Contessa, as she’s known, has close to a dozen best-selling cookbooks…
Now that season 1 of RuPaul’s Drag Race spinoff, Canada’s Drag Race, is over, its never too soon to think about the queens that will come back in the future. To early exits to fan favorites, five queens stand out in particular as those that viewers will want to see.

I know I look stunning but my favourite part of the night is always taking my makeup OFF! @neutrogenacanada wipes are literally a life saver because I only need one wipe and it takes off all my layers of heavy heavy makeup. Now you can see my tiny eyebrows and shiny bald head!! #CanadasDragRace now streaming on Crave! @canadasdragrace @CraveCanada @neutrogenacanada #sponsored
Juice Boxx gives similar vibes to another queen that went too soon, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10. She put on a great lip-sync performance in the very first face-off of the season against Lemon, and was memorable during the episode. If the producers know any better, Juice Boxx will be the first person to walk through the workroom for the not confirmed but inevitable season 2 of Canada’s Drag Race. Juice Boxx is too talented of a queen for us to not see her again, and this would be the best way to bring her back.

WE FOUGHT! WE CONQUERED! WE SLAYED! I can’t believe I’m finally saying this after over a decade of slaying the game… I AM SO PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM ON @canadasdragrace 🇨🇦 🏁!!! The most obvious choice on this list, Scarlett BoBo was very close to taking home the crown this season before being edged out by Priyanka. BoBo was one of the most professional and seasoned queens this season along with Rita Baga. It would make a lot of sense for her to return soon, as she would be a shoo-in for the crown on an All-Stars season. This seems like a very similar trajectory to queens like Chad Michaels, Alaska, and Shea Couleé, who were very close to winning on their seasons before just missing out on the title of America’s next drag superstar. They were all brought back for All-Stars seasons and dominated.
It’s too early to tell whether or not the international spin-offs of RuPaul’s Drag Race will have their own All-Stars as the years go on, or if they will be mixed in with the U.S. queens for the current, stateside All-Stars seasons.
Lemon is sort of like the Canada’s Drag Race version of Jan from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 12, and it’s not just because they are both from New York. Both are very eager and talented queens who could have gone further but it just wasn’t their time. Though she was in the first lip-sync match against Juice Boxx, Lemon had a great run on the season, ultimately placing fifth. In a couple of years, she will be primed to return.
This queen was the ultimate fan-favorite of season 1. Her clown drag and lovable personality stuck a chord with viewers. Many viewers also disagreed with the judges’ inconsistent critiques of her each week. Because she is so beloved, Jimbo would be another obvious, eventual All-Stars choice. However, something tells us that she may turn down an offer because regardless, she will be fine. Maybe when the show catches up to her style of drag, then it could be in the cards1
At 21, Kiara was the second-to-youngest queen on this season. She turned a lot of fashion looks and was a funny queen as well. In a few years, she could get even more polished and would definitely be deserving of another chance because she would definitely go further.
