Ant and Dec were back on Monday night to front the second instalment of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! ITV viewers watched on as the celebrity campmates got to know each other around the campfire. However, when Boy George came back to join his co-stars, fans were surprised by his hairstyle after he removed his hat.
Taking to social media to share their thoughts about Boy George’s appearance, user @sunbabe08 said: “Boy George without a hat!!!!!! He actually has hair!!
“This is my take away from that first segment.”
Amy Moffatt tweeted: “I didn’t expect that hair under Boy George’s hat #ImACeleb.”
While user @Typhooncat3 added: “#ImACeleb seeing boy George’s hair is so wild to me cause I thought he was bald under that hat for the longest time.” (sic)
“Nice to see Boy George unmasked with a full head of hair! Can’t say I’ve ever seen him without a hat on,” Bob went on to say.
Paul said: “Boy George has a lovely head of hair? I wasn’t expecting that?”
Meg asked: “Is anyone else absolutely baffled by the fact that Boy George has hair!?”
Andy went on to point out: “Anyone else floored by the fact Boy George has hair? I honestly thought he was bald.”
Some viewers branded the star “unrecognisable”, with Sam commenting: “Tweeting: “Boy George with no hat?? Unrecognisable.”
Lauren said: “Boy George with no hat and no makeup… Unrecognisable #ImACeleb.”
Meanwhile, the singer’s hair wasn’t the only distracting thing in the camp.
The singer seemed to be keeping his co-stars awake with his snoring.
Scarlette Douglas was the first to wake up and informed Boy George about his sleeping habits.
“I’m quite a morning person, I didn’t think I was,” she said.
“Yeah, I’m ready to go, let’s do this.”
Boy George later told her: “I had an amazing night in a way. I meditated for about two hours.”
“I just heard snoring,” the presenter laughed before Boy George apologised: “Sorry, babe!”
When they sat around the campfire at dinner, Boy George also made his feelings clear about Charlene White’s cooking.
He told the Loose Women star that he felt the mushrooms in the meal were undercooked and not seasoned enough.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
