BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood and Sally Nugent snap 'are you awake?!' after TWO Dan Walker blunders

BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood and Sally Nugent snapped 'are you awake?!' after TWO Dan Walker blunders.

Today's show saw Dan, 44, admit he had stayed up late to watch the live sport last night, despite his early start for work.

Meanwhile Carol, 59, presented her weather report from outside rather than in the BBC studio.

Dan introduced it by saying: "Now Carol is out and about this morning, and she’s in a much greener Trafalgar scare- Square, even. It’s only quarter past six!"

Carol and Dan's co-host Sally Nugent both picked up on the slip up, with Sally saying: "It’s definitely not a Trafalgar scare! Morning Carol, it looks gorgeous there."

Carol, who wore a thick black coat as she stood among some greenery replied: "It is – and Dan, put your teeth back in!"

Once Carol had finished, the camera returned to the studio and Sally said: "It is gorgeous Carol – see you in a bit!"

Dan started to move on to the next item saying: ""It’s nice there this morning isn’t it… now let’s bring you…"
