Bake Off's Freya and Lizzie show off epic new tattoos paying tribute to judges' critiques

BAKE Off's Freya and Lizzie have showed off epic new tattoos paying tribute to the judges' critiques.

The two women formed a firm friendship during the current series, before Freya was voted off in week five.

While the 19-year-old vegan baker has left the tent, Lizzie, 28, is still in the competition.

During this week's episode, her caramel tart was described as lacking "finesse" by judge Prue Leith.

Lizzie told the camera afterwards: "No finesse, again. Flavour, no finesse."

Now she has shared a video on TikTok revealing how she has had the word 'finesse' tattooed on the inside of her ankle.

She explained how she chose 'finesse' because "it seems where I lack in life."

She didn't get inked alone though, as Freya joined her, and had 'GBBO' tattooed on her inner ankle.

The pair had a similar design, featuring a whisk with the handle spelling out their respective words.

The tattoos come after Bake Off viewers were left outraged by a preview for next week's show, which revealed it was Free-from week, two weeks after the show's only vegan baker, Freya, had left.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Free from week? You mean the thing Freya was doing the entire bloody time??? Feels like #GBBO have done Freya properly dirty there, ngl…"

Another added: "As if Freya got eliminated and now they're having Vegan week."

A third tweeted: "A vegan week without Freya? Gotta be a kick in the teeth for her…."

The Great British Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
