Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly's brand new passion project has sadly been axed after BBC bosses decided it wouldn't go ahead.
The lovable Geordie duo, both 45, were excited to lend their talents to another part of the television industry with their new motoring show, Street Car Showdown, but unfortunately plans for the series have been axed.
According to the Sun, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Ant and Dec's joint-owned company Mitre Television was embarking on a joint venture with production giants Studio Lambert.
They were the creators and creative consultants of the car-based project, which was thought to have been commissioned to BBC2.
However, a source revealed to the publication that this is no longer the case and the series will not be going ahead.

Street Car Showdown was "a passion project" for the presenting pair, claimed the insider, "as they'd had an interest in 'car modders' since they were youngsters."
The prospective TV series challenged two teams of competing contestants to transform second-hand vehicles into racing cars.
Contestants were given a time limit of just ten days, and only had access to a small budget.
The production companies behind the project were thought to have filmed a pilot episode for the series, but it has now been confirmed it will not be getting turned into a full season for BBC2.
The TV insider continued: "As backers of the show they would also have been returning to the Beeb, more than 30 years after they appeared on BBC1’s Byker Grove and met one another.
"They couldn’t actually appear on the show due to their contractual obligations with ITV, but they were the show’s creative consultants."
They added: “But after a pilot was made in 2019 — just after the project was announced — a decision was taken not to progress it into a full series.”
Despite the let-down of their new project being axed, Ant and Dec won't exactly be short of work as they still present Britain's Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and are currently working alongside social media app TikTok.
They have also just confirmed that they will be launching a huge new Saturday night gameshow on ITV called Limitless Win.
They previously spoke about Street Car Showdown, revealing they came up with the idea to highlight the “passion, talent and creativity” of car fanatics.
The presenters explained: “We have been fascinated with this world since we were teenagers in the North East and experienced car modders meeting up on Roker seafront in Sunderland to show off their creations.”
At the time the pilot was announced, Studio Lambert chief executive Stephen Lambert added: “We were delighted when Mitre asked us to work with them on developing Ant and Dec’s fun, adrenalin-filled idea and producing it with them.”
