Ant and Dec are blissfully unaware I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has swapped the jungle in Australia for Gwrych Castle in North Wales in the brand new trailer for the upcoming series.
The Geordie duo are returning to front the 2020 UK edition, which has been forced to relocate due to the coronavirus pandemic.
‘Ah it’s great to be back Down Under,’ Ant says in the clip as he climbs out of a black cab and steps into poop, immediately becoming acquainted with the countryside.
‘I would hate to see the kangaroo who left that,’ he laughs.
‘Wow that was quick,’ Dec is heard saying as he pulls off an eye mask. ‘I must have slept through the whole flight.’
Ant then goes to pay the cabbie in ‘dingo dollars’, and quips: ‘Don’t spend it all at once.’
Looking at his I’m A Celebrity map of Australia, a confused Dec points out: ‘This place looks nothing like my map.’
‘How many more times. Australia is upside down.’ Ant reminds him as he turns the map the wrong way up.
‘Of course, it is. I’m such an idiot. Isn’t that right Mr Kangaroo,’ Dec replies, as the hosts walk past a signpost towards ‘The Castle’.
The upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity is due to begin in November, but it’s been reported the show is at risk after Wales was hit with fresh lockdown rule earlier this month.
Discussing the changes, an ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘I’m A Celebrity continues to adhere to all relevant guidelines as well as our own strict Covid protocols.’
Earlier this week, the castle, where this year’s show is set, flooded, prompting bosses to put measures into place to battle the UK’s wet weather.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV in November.
