This Morning viewers were surprised to Alison Hammond walk off set during Monday's show, leaving Dermot O'Leary standing in the studio.
In the closing moments of the show, Dermot and Alison filled viewers in on the schedule for the rest of the week, with interviews and guest appearances galore.
Just before the credits started to roll, the pair started to wave at the cameras, only for Alison to decide it was time to leave.
She exclaimed: "See ya!"
Suddenly, she strolled off the set, leaving Dermot and fashion expert Lisa Snowdown laughing as she left them behind.
The unexpected exit came moments after Alison and Lisa got locked in an awkward exchange over their pronunciation of the name "Dermot".
Lisa's fancy pronunciation of his name got Dermot laughing, but Alison misunderstood and assumed he was laughing at her.
She quickly apologised, only for Lisa to point out it was her who had pronounced his name strangely.
Dermot tried to brush the awkward name blunder off and insisted he didn't mind how anyone pronounced his name.
Watching her sudden exit from home, one viewer wondered whether Alison was in a hurry to fulfil her goal this week – to buy herself a dog.
The presenter spent the whole morning discussing her plans to find herself an adorable rescue dog, chatting about the adoption process with Dermot.
Poking fun at Alison's premature exit, one viewer wrote: "Alison running off to get a dog #ThisMorning!"
Alison and Dermot are filling in for regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on the show, as they take time off for the Easter break.
Last week, presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes returned to the hot seat, having left as official Friday hosts at the beginning of the year.
Sadly, Eamonn was forced to use a cane at one point, as his battle with chronic pain left him in great discomfort.
Bringing relief to viewers, the veteran presenter revealed doctors have discovered the source of his pain – a dislocated pelvis.
