Singer Ari Gold has sadly passed away aged 47.

Who was Ari Gold?

Born in 1974, Ari was an American pop singer and songwriter.

Ari released seven albums during his career which began in the 2000s.

He is best known for Where the Music Takes You, which featured Sasha Allen and Wave of You which was released in 2004.

Ari's music was featured in NBC's Scrubs and ABC's Cougar Town, and he voiced cartoons in Jem and the Holograms and Cabbage Patch Kids.

How did Ari Gold die?

On February 14, 2021 Ari sadly passed away aged 47.

He died after a long battle with leukaemia.

Tributes flooded in for the late star.

Laverne Cox shared a montage in honor of the NYU grad, whom she's known since the nineties.

"So many people have come and gone from my life over the past 25 years but you have been a constant," the 48-year-old transgender trailblazer wrote via Instagram.

"As I've grown and evolved, you evolved with me.

"The spiritual journey we've both been on has made it clear why we've remained in each other's lives for so long. I'm so utterly devastated that you've moved on today."

Who was Ari Gold's partner and did they have kids?

It is not known if Ari was in a relationship at the time of his death.
