While most celebrities and nominees watched the Emmy Awards from their couches, Insecure creator and star Issa Rae decided to go big rather than stay…
As we know many events have been cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, from Glastonbury music festival to football match attendance being cancelled.
And one of the highlights in the year is Wimbledon Tennis, which was due to start on Monday, June 29.
The world famous tournament was meant to run for two weeks and end on Sunday, July 12.
The event see’s hundreds gather to watch the proceedings take place.
Many famous faces such as royalty like the Duchess of Cambridge to famous faces like Beyonce show up in their best style to support and watch.
So, we’ve reminisced and taken a look back at our top 10 best dressed moments from the past years. Here’s a peek…
Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Pippa Middleton
In 2019, sister’s Kate and Pippa Middleton spent the day with Meghan Markle whilst watching the women’s final from the royal box on Centre court.
Kate re-wore this stunning green Dolce & Gabbana dress which elegantly showed off her amazing slim figure.
Meghan oozed sophisticated glamour in a crisp white shirt which was teamed with a vivid blue and white BOSS skirt.
Pippa channeled summer in a lovely blue floral ruffle dress by London designer, Anna Mason London.
We think we can all agree that these three ladies always get it right with their style.
Rochelle and Marvin Humes
One of our favourite couples, Marvin and Rochelle Humes, looked gorgeous as they attended Wimbledon in 2019.
Rochelle showed how to do high street style right by wearing this bright milkmaid dress from New Look.
Marvin looked suave in a purple tweed suit, setting an example of how to channel summer in a tailored look.
Designer and Paris Hilton’s bestie, Nicole Richie, showed up to Wimbledon in 2019 in a floor length floral dress.
Wearing an outfit from her own label, House of Harlow 1960 collaboration with brand Revolve, she channelled British boho chic.
Nicole proved to petite women everywhere that smaller women can wear maxi dresses and still look fabulous.
The outfit was finished off with a white blazer which broke up the outfit nicely.
Best known for her roles in the Marvel films, Tessa Thompson stole the show in a Polo Ralph Lauren pantsuit in 2019.
Pairing the oversized boyish blazer and white trousers with a classic striped shirt, she set a perfect example of what to wear when attending Wimbledon Tennis.
In 2018, we saw Emma Watson also opt for a tailored white suit.
The actress ticked all the boxes for us in this three piece suit from Ralph Lauren.
The trousers gave a nod to Meghan Markle’s style as they were both wearing similar trousers by the same designer.
The full white look allowed her to embrace British summer to it’s fullest.
Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle 2018
Sister-in-law’s Kate and Meghan attended the women’s final together in 2018.
Both of them channelled different styles yet looked just as elegant and beautiful as one another.
Kate wore a classic, fitted polka dot dress which perfectly cinched in her waist by designer Jenny Packham.
Meghan, meanwhile, opted for separates both by Ralph Lauren.
The outfit was finished off with a fedora hat, letting her channel her inner sportswoman.
Back in 2017, the Game of Thrones actress turned heads in this stunning floral tie-neck mini dress.
Emilia channelled her vintage, quirky style by wearing a dress by designer brand Dolce & Gabbana.
Not only is the floral print very fitting for Wimbledon, but we’re big fans of the delicate silk neck tie.
Whilst supporting one of her best friends, Serena Williams back in the 2016 women’s final of Wimbledon, Beyonce did not disappoint with what she wore.
Wearing a lace dress from Self Portrait, the Crazy In Love singer oozed British summertime in a full Wimbledon white ensemble.
Victoria and David Beckham
Power couple, David and Victoria Beckham looked as smart and sophisticated as always whilst attending in 2014.
David opted for a navy Polo Ralph Lauren double-breasted blazer with beige chino’s.
Whilst Victoria chose to wear one of her own designs.
We love the mix of these colours and against the navy, matching with her husband.
The pair looked regal as always.
We couldn’t not include this beyond stunning lemon skirt suit which Princess Diana wore back in 1995.
The wide shouldered blazer and cinched waist, showed off her amazing figure.
Her statement accessories stole the show, wearing gold and pearl earrings from Chanel with a large pearl necklace proves just why the Princess was and always will be a style icon.
