Mike Tindall gives fans ‘unglamorous’ behind-the-scenes tour of I’m A Celeb set

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Mike Tindall wasted no time after he left the jungle correcting viewers who think all is not as it seems on the hit ITV reality show.

Mike, who finished in fourth place, took to Instagram following Jill Scott's big win to give fans a behind-the-scenes tour at what the set is really like.

In a live stream on Sunday, the 44-year-old said: "For everyone who thinks it's glamorous in I'm A Celebrity, basically, this is behind the scenes. Lots of red c**p, lots of buses, erm, there's not really anything going on."

Speaking to Scarlette Douglas about the tents, Mike continued: "If you think it gets any more glamorous in the tents, let's have a look shall we? This is what it looks like. Yes, it's trestle tables and just seats. So it is just that.

"And then if you want to think that maybe the celebs hang out in a better place – I hate using the word celebs by the way – it's the same."

Panning the camera to his wife Zara Tindall, who looked gorgeous in a Ralph Lauren white linen shirt dress and peach sunglasses, he said, "She's hot."

Zara could then be seen giving Queen of the Jungle Jill a hug for the camera as Jill remarked: "Mike's done very well for himself."

And while he was happy to chat to most of his fellow campmates, he chose to swerve Matt Hancock as he passed him.

Pointing his camera around the production tents, Mike quickly panned across Matt with an awkward laugh and the words: "Yeah, erm…" before moving on.

The former England rugby star also introduced his Instagram followers to the I'm A Celeb crew and security, who are never normally seen on screen.

On the last stop of Mike's behind the scenes tour, he walked into another tent where he came across Boy George and Matt's girlfriend Gina Colangelo deep in conversation, despite Matt and George's friction in the jungle.

He showcased tables lined with piles of things the celebrities had to sign, from cast photographs and clothes to the mess tins they eat rice and beans out of.

"Lucky they put some potted plants in here to really glam up this tent," he joked.
