McDonald’s announces menu changes as three items axed and Double Big Macs return

McDonald’s is shaking up its menu next week.

The fast food giant’s Double Big Mac is making a return on October 6.

The gut-busting menu item is twice as big was the original – with its four patties and stacks of cheese, lettuce, onions and Big Mac sauce.

You’ll be able to pick it up for £4.19 on its own or in a medium-sized meal deal for £5.69.

But you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one, as the limited edition menu item will only stick around for six weeks.

The Double Big Mac isn’t the only menu item to make a return to the line-up next Wednesday.

Nacho Cheese Wedges are returning – and you can try them for £1.89.

Or if you have more of a sweet tooth, the 99p Crunchie McFlurry may be more up your street.

Just like the Double Big Mac, these items will only be available for six weeks.

The three limited edition products will replace the popular Big Tasty, Chicken BBQ Smokehouse and Mozzarella Dippers.

These menu items were launched back in August and are likely to make a comeback next year.

Typically, McDonald’s rolls out its festive menu in November.

When Halloween is out of the way, we’re likely to get a sneak peek at some of the special menu items that are launching in 2021.

Previously, customers have been able to get their hands on Celebrations McFlurrys and cheese melt dippers.

But if previous years are anything to go by, we’ll probably get a few surprises thrown in too!
