The Made In Chelsea star rang us while in a neck brace, having injured herself the night before.
Half laughing, the French firecracker revealed: ”It was ridiculous. Basically my sink, the tap came off and the water went everywhere in my kitchen!

“I was trying to stop the water running and I did a bad movement or something and I completely blocked my neck.”
On top of this she had just found out the week prior that both her parents had tested positive for coronavirus.

She explained: “I got really stressed for the first 24 to 48 hours, because apparently it's the first few days that you have to make sure it is not getting to your chest, or not getting worse.
“I was basically on the phone to my mum on Monday evening for hours making sure they were fine, because obviously they are in Paris.”
She concedes that her they are both “feeling better now” but it has changed her outlook on the pandemic.
The 28 year old said: “It’s just that when you know that this virus is actually happening to you, or it is happening to people from you family.
“You always think it happens to everyone else but of course, it can happen to you and you realise that is the case, so I really respect the rules as much as I can.”
But anyone who has watched the E4 show will know that Maeva is a tough cookie, so despite her current tribulations she is good-humoured and buoyant throughout our chat.
The star is currently locking down in her Chelsea home with her boyfriend James Taylor, 25, and their dog Clyde.
Although she tells OK! the first lockdown wasn't so easy for them, this time around it is going much better "for many reasons"
She said: "First of all he is working with his dad now. So Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday he is not there, so we can have a little bit of space, which is actually healthy and good in a relationship to be honest.
"I can’t wait to see him when he comes back, we spend some nice quality time together."
Recently on the show the narrative of their relationship surrounded Maeva telling James she was ready to settle down and get married.
However, although this caused a stir between the two, she tells us that they are now "on the same page for the future".

She said: "It's a tricky subject, that wasn’t fun for a little while to be honest.
"I always wanted to talk about this subject with him, and then I knew that his behaviour was a little bit weird.
"He was ok with commitment, living together and everything.

"But the thing to remember with James is he is still a little bit young, so for him this type of commitment and everything is such a big thing.
"So I feel that I was a bit silly to talk to him about that so soon."
