Kate Middleton looked stunning yesterday as she enjoyed meeting Sir David with her children and her husband. Kate wore a denim dress in the sweet pictures with her young children. She can been seen looking down at her children, specifically Prince Louis, and smiling with joy.
She appears to be mid-laugh in the candid moment, which shows Princess Charlotte holding her cheeks in joy while meeting David.
Kate has a hand pressed flat against her stomach in the snap.
In light of recent rumours the Duchess is pregnant, what did a body language expert make of the appearance?
Expert Judi James analysed the images exclusively for Express.co.uk.
She claimed a number of signs Kate may be expecting are on display here.
Judi said: “It’s probably wishful thinking on the part of royal fans, who would like nothing better than a new Cambridge baby to lift the country’s spirits in this time of crisis, but after previously listing the type of body language cues that might suggests Kate is pregnant again, I do have to say there are at least four of them on display here.”
What clues might indicate Kate is expecting?
The expert said: “Firstly there’s the hand to the stomach. I know this can be a signature gesture for Kate, pregnant or not, but here she places her hand flat on her stomach in a semi-protective gesture, rather than cupping it, as is more usual for her.
“Then there’s the mirroring gestures that I mentioned from William.

“His hand is placed on his own stomach here, hinting at some secret news that has produced a mimicry gesture, as both he and Harry have produced this ritual in the past when their wives have been pregnant.”
Prince William’s facial expressions could similarly be a clue, Judi claims.
The expert explained: “Then there’s that suppressed smiling from William than you do often get when he’s delighted but trying to hide it.
“And Kate is even standing slightly behind her husband here while they lean together slightly, again hinting at closeness and protection. The kids even look excited, so how can this not be happy news?”
However, there is another reason all of these body language signs might be there that is not pregnancy.
Judi said: “Possibly because of the presence of David Attenborough beside them, which has thrown a rather sweet spanner in the works in terms of Kate and William’s body language.
“For their children it’s like a visit from Santa times 10. Kate did mention some hero-worship from her children bit it looks from their body language as though all five Cambridge’s are sent soppy-in-awe of the great man here.
“George is so impressed he’s matching his parent’s signals of shyness, except for George it means a lack of eye contact as he keeps his gaze on Attenborough’s shoes here.
“Charlotte is at an age when children are often much less inhibited and is therefore able to express her delight in the classic fan signal of placing the hands at either side of the head to show excitement, while Louis is able to be even less inhibited and more free-range as he wanders about.”
So those hoping for baby news needn’t start saving for royal baby memorabilia any time soon.
Judi said: “Sadly in terms of baby news, many of William and Kate’s signals here could be down to the same ‘fan awe’ as their children, including the suppressed smiles and the way Kate seems to be hiding slightly behind William.
“Even her stomach-touch gesture could be a signal that she’s standing back to allow her children to enjoy the treat and express their excitement.
“But if they do pop up again at a less magical moment for the family it might be time to start checking Kate’s diary for growing gaps.”
