Inside Gemma Collins’ Sicily getaway as she goes full White Lotus
Gemma Collinsis enjoying the luxurious lifestyle during her visit to Sicily, which has seen the former TOWIE star stay at the hotel from The White Lotus.
The second series of the hit HBO show saw various groups of affluent tourists stay at the San Domenico Palace and Gemma was channelling Jennifer Coolidge's character Tanya while on her own trip to the luxury resort.
The 42 year old has shared plenty of snaps from her star the Four Seasons-owned hotel in the beautiful Taormina – where rooms cost up to £4,000 a night.
In real life, the hotel has welcomed many high-profile guests over the years, including Oscar Wilde, Greta Garbo, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren.
On Thursday, Gemma posted a video of her arrival at the airport, where she was dressed in a printed shirt, leggings and bright trainers. The star could be seen wheeling two suitcases – no doubt full of stunning, designer holiday clothes – through the terminal.
Gemma has since shared various pictures from Sicily, including one she made like Tanya and sported oversized Versace sunglasses while sipping a spritz.
Quoting a famous line from The White Lotus, she added the caption: "Living my best Jennifer Coolidge life" and quipped "these gays are trying to murder me."
Gemma also shared pics of herself outside the hotel’s stunning exterior and enjoying lunch with a view of the sea, while her Chanel handbag was placed next to her.
Referencing the Italian designer brand who made her outfit, she captioned the post: “PUCCI SUNDAYS. I wish all you blessings in your life on this special beautiful day.”
The star also dined out at the restaurant I giardini di Babilonia, which serves Mediterranean cuisine. Gemma was so impressed she even made sure to snap a photo with the chef Antonio Bifera, describing it as "the best day of 2023".
The GC is no stranger to a lavish lifestyle and previously boasted about spending£50,000 a day in Gucci.
Gemma told MailOnline: "At one point I had money to burn. I had Knightsbridge Fever.
"I was spending £50K a day in Gucci. But shopping gets boring after a while, when you can afford it.
"For me, it was a form of self-harm. Sometimes it's the thrill you are after — not the stuff."
However, theTOWIEfavourite has superb busy with work, taking part in theGreat British Bake Off’s Celebrity Stand Up To Cancer special.
Gemma admitted that her biggest incentive for participating in the show was her longstanding crush on judge Paul Hollywood.
The star told Metro: "He is gorgeous. I can confirm to every woman on the planet that he is unbelievable in the flesh. Whoever gets to marry Paul Hollywood next will be a lucky woman."
