Who is Brendyn Hatfield?
Brendyn is a 36 year old professional skater, who originally hails from Seattle, Washington.
He joined Dancing on Ice back in 2020, prior to joining the show he starred in Disney on Ice and Holiday on Ice.
Brendyn was paired with ITV news journalist Lucrezia Millarini for his first series on the ITV show, with the pair being the second couple to be eliminated.
For series 13, he was partnered with rapper Lady Leshurr, and the couple made it all the way to the semi-final.
Brendyn is married to fellow Dancing on Ice star, Jessica Hatfield.
Jessica is a reserve skater on the hit show, who is readily available to fill in for any professional who may become injured or unable perform throughout the series.
She has competed in one series so far, having joined the show in 2020 at the same time as her husband.
Jessica was partnered with BBC star Radzi Chinyanganya, but the couple were eliminated in week three.
Brendyn and Jessica have performed across the globe together, having performed as Aladdin and Jasmine together in Dancing on Ice.
The couple met while on tour, and have remained loved-up ever since having tied the knot over nine years ago.
They tend to keep details of their relationship entirely private, having never shared snaps from their wedding or the exact date they exchanged vows.
Brendyn and Jessica occasionally share sweet photos together on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their home life and skating careers.
Brendyn will now take to the ice alongside celebrity partner Rachel on Sunday 30 January, as she focuses on healing her fractured wrist.
Taking to Instagram, 36 year old Brendyn shared two pictures of him and Rachel rehearsing off the ice rink.
The professional skater wrote a long caption explaining the current situation to fans, before praising Rachel for her positivity and resilience.
Brendyn also excitedly added: "We're excited to show you what hard work and determination can do and can't wait to perform for you soon!"
