Inside BAFTA-nominated actor Olly Alexander’s chic East London home

Former Years & Years star Olly Alexander lives a colourful life in front of the camera from luxe parties to award-winning performances.

In January 2021, he put on an incredible performance for BBC show It's A Sin as character Ritchie Tozer, which bagged him a BAFTA nomination.

The show immediately won over its viewers for its impeccable cast and storytelling and true live portrayal of Russell Davies.

Olly, 30, enjoys his success away from the camera and in the comfort of his stylish east London home – decorated to perfection.

The handsome singer has often shared small glimpses of his chic London apartment in snippets with his 780,000+ followers.

He admittedly poses for jaw-dropping selfies in his home's bathroom, which is decorated to his amazing taste.

The bathroom features large grey tiles and a beautiful clear shower that reaches just shy of ceiling height.

It's safe to say that the talented musician likes modern furnishings within his home, having a recurring theme of grey throughout the rooms.

One of the main aspects of his luxe abode is a textured grey wallpaper.

Sharing a glimpse into one of the bedrooms, the room features grey wallpaper and is even decorated with a dream catcher above the bed's headboard.

The bed frame is a soft natural wood that is complemented by blue and white monochrome sheets.

Olly's home features incredible floor to ceiling windows that have been dressed aside floor-length chocolate brown curtains.

Making sure to keep the space light and airy, he decorated the space with a glass table that was placed aside his window.

The home is captured sitting aside other London apartments with the potential to look over the incredible London skyline.

Olly admittedly loves a touch of greenery in his home, which is usually seen through his Instagram selfies as he brings an aspect of his love of the outdoors inside.

His living room carries a warm tone that is complemented by a large house plant. Also sharing a photo of his white and glistening kitchen, the greenery of the plant perfectly ties the space together.

In an interview with Gloucestershire Live, Olly explained that the lockdown had been challenging because he lives in a flat.

He said: "I live alone and I don't have any outside space and I really love to be outside but we are all in the same boat."

The fashion icon clearly knows a thing or two about style as he shows his impeccable furnishings around his home.

The star added a black and white monochrome rug to the dark floors to pull the space together.

Whilst the walls of the room appear to be bright and white, there are certain aspects of his breath-taking home that are a little darker.

In a snap posted to his social media, Olly showed off the dark blue walls and cupboards in one of his rooms.

The room appears to be a recording studio where the singer debuts his incredible voice and space to write song lyrics.

Aside from hula hooping, as he is doing in the above shot, Olly clearly uses this space to record music as we can see a microphone and chair in the corner of the space.
