The Australian mum, called Alana, posted on Facebook, where she said she used a solution of hot water and Aldi’s $1.25 Di-San Oxy Action stain remover with eucalyptus oil.

Alana also used a detailing brush from Supercheap Auto to make her Converse sneakers as white as possible.

‘I sprayed the sneakers with ALDI Di-San and left them for about half an hour before scrubbing them with a detailing brush,’ Alana wrote.

‘Then, I sprayed them again and soaked them in hot water with Di-San powder for a few hours, scrubbed them a few times again with the brush while in water and put them in the washing machine on a warm wash with more Di-San.’

The final step involved the mum leaving them in the sunshine to dry.

Hundreds who saw the simple cleaning trick were impressed, and said they would try it for themselves.
