A chef has revealed exactly what you need to do to get your scrambled eggs cooked to restaurant quality.
Robbie Bell has previously worked under celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal and so is well versed in the intricacies of the kitchen.
The foodie, based in Melbourne, Australia, shared an instructional video to TikTok recently explaining the method everyone should use to cook their scrambled eggs.
He starts by cracking eight eggs into a bowl before whisking them together with a fork.
Robbie then melts a generous amount of butter in a pan over medium heat before pouring the egg mixture in as it starts to bubble.
The key now, the chef believes, is to continuously stir the eggs.
Instead of using the more conventional milk, Robbie adds a dollop of crème fraîche to the mixture before continuing to stir the eggs. Sour cream, he says, can also be used.
To finish, he sprinkles a generous pinch of sea salt and cracked pepper over the mixture.
He then adds one more unusual ingredient – chopped fresh dill.
The video was captioned: “I like my scrambled eggs sloppy and with fresh dill.”
It has since been seen a staggering 70,000 times and attracted hundreds of comments.
Many were astonished that the chef decided to use dill.
“Looked good but that’s a lot of dill,” one viewer wrote.
Another commented: “Never had it with dill before!”
Others said the method of cooking scrambled eggs were “the best way” and they could not wait to try it.
