Ashley Cain and girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee’s family honored their late daughter with new tattoos.
The “Challenge” star revealed Monday that a few family members got matching ink of the baby girl’s name, Azaylia Diamond Cain, after she tragically died of leukemia last month.
The design simply features the 8-month-old’s name above a small diamond.
Cain and Vorajee revealed their daughter’s “rare and aggressive” diagnosis in October and said in April that she was given just “days to live.”
The couple previously set up a GoFundMe page on Azaylia’s behalf to help fund at the costs of her treatment, raising over $2 million. The story even grabbed the attention of stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who told the family to “stay strong.”
After revealing the heartbreaking news of Azaylia’s death on April 24, Vorajee wrote, “You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.”
“I will carry your name across every ocean, along every road, to the top of every mountain and across the whole globe,” Cain, a former UK footballer, wrote shortly after.
“Your name will live, your legacy will be remembered and I will seek peace in living as your vessel to continue inspiring, giving strength, spreading joy and saving lives in your name, with your spirit, as your father until we meet again.”
