Wedding photographer reveals three subtle giveaways that a marriage is doomed… and yes, it’s all about the in-laws

A WEDDING photographer has revealed how she can tell if a marriage is going to last or not.

Shayla Herrington reveals that she has been thought by wedding photographers with over 15 years of experience of the three signs to look for.

Taking to her TikTok account, the woman says that the most obvious signs revolve around how the bride or groom are acting around their inlaws.

Posting under the domain @shaylamherrington she said: "One time I was shooting under this wedding photographer, and they told me they can always tell if a couple will last or not, based on three things."

"Mind you this photographer has been in the industry for 10 or 15 years, so I was really interested to hear their theory on this" she added.

Shayla said that the first indicator is that one of the spouses will take more than three family photos without the other spouse.

"This one kinda makes sense to me, just because you might get a few with your mom and dad, but to kick them out of more than three photos, seems a little suspicious," said the photographer.

"The second indicator is the bridesmaids, or the groomsmen will avoid talking about the spouse when they are getting ready or doing toast or anything" added Shayla.

She explained that this is a typical indication that the bridal party don't like their loved one's spouse.

The third and final indicator is that the spouses generally spend more time around their family and friends than their new bride or groom.

"The last indicator is one of the spouses will spend more time with friends or family at the reception rather than their spouse," she said.

Shayla asked: "So what do you guys think, do you think this theory holds some truth."

In the post that has been viewed over 95k times, TikTok users have been quick to comment.

"Yep. My Ex-husband didn't spend time with me at the wedding, and his groomsmen didn't say hi to me at all" commented one person.

Another said: "I honestly think a big indicator is a huge expensive wedding. Like they're trying to put on a show for everyone, don't care about their marriage."

"It depends. My husband didn't even MEET half my family until the wedding day so there wasn't that relationship between him and my family" commented a third.
