A "NARCISSISTIC" bikini model who said she was "too good looking" to find love has hit back at her male critics – insisting their "egos were bruised".
Jenna Thompson, 36, has received a barrage of abuse since appearing on This Morning on Monday – but insisted it doesn't bother her.
The mum-of-two, from Essex, told Femail: "I'm really looking after myself. I've got myself super fit. I'm 36, I've grown up and I'm at the prime in my life and don't think I should hide that."
Horrified viewers took to Twitter to slam Jenna as "narcissistic", "too picky", "fake" and having a "very inflated ego" after her appearance on the show.
But Jenna told Femail she wouldn't let their comments "spoil my day".
"I don't love myself, I'm just confident – and people don't like that," she added.
"95 per cent of the nasty messages I received were from men. I think their egos were bruised. I don't know why as they don't know me."
Jenna, who has 29,200 followers on Instagram, said she had to be picky for the sake of her kids.
She also admitted she felt like an "ugly kid" at school, with bullies picking on her for her "huge forehead".
Jenna appeared on This Morning for a segment called "I'm too good looking to find love".
She told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: “I think I intimidate guys. I intimidate nice guys. So I seem to attract guys who are after one thing.
“Or people who think they’ll have a go, have a shot and they seem to just want hook-ups. No one is looking for anything serious.”
Yesterday an age-defying mum, 47, claimed drinking nothing but water for three WEEKS is the secret to her youthful looks.
While this personal trainer starved herself for 18 weeks to get in shape for a bikini competition – only to be told she was too fat for her category.
