Meghan and Harry latest – Sussexes to 'release Christmas card' as the couple is spotted in LA

THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been spotted in LA dressed casually before Christmas.

In pictures obtained by Page Six, the couple were seen running errands in Beverly Hills earlier this week.

Following coronavirus guidelines, both Meghan and Prince Harry – who was pictured in jeans, trainers and a grey knit – wore face masks as they ventured in and out of shops.

This comes ahead of confirmation by royal biographer Omid Scobie that the couple will be releasing a Christmas card this year.

    It comes on the back of a £112million Netflix deal – which led to Meghan being labelled the "new Kim Kardashian" – and a string of lucrative speaking events.

    Meghan has been named the popular UK royal in the world – beating the likes of the Queen and Kate Middleton to clinch the top spot. 

    The former actress was crowned the top royal in a worldwide survey by OnBuy, with a popularity score of 14.5 per cent.

    While Meghan has made fewer public appearances this year, due to coronavirus and relocating to California with Archie and Prince Harry, it seems her Zoom speeches and heartfelt essays have proved a hit with the public. 

    Hot on her heels was the Duchess of Cambridge, 38, who had a ranking of 14.4 per cent, and in third place was the Queen, 94, with a 14.3 per cent popularity score. 

    But the mum-of-three did come out on top in Instagram searches, with Kate known to be a keen photographer, often taking candid snaps of her three children.

    Meghan once appeared wearing a Santa hat in a cheesy music video for a Christmas single.

    The future Duchess of Sussex pops up in the clip for Richard Marx single Christmas Spirit from 2012.

    Meghan, who had not long started in legal drama Suits, is seen sitting at a Christmas table miming the lyrics to the tune with a Santa hat on.

    She is also smiling and nodding in step with the song.

    The montage-style video also features cameos by much better known stars including Olivia Newton-John, David Copperfield and Hugh Jackman.

    The video was filmed four years before she met Prince Harry and while she was all-but unknown in Britain.

    Marx, a US Grammy award-winning singer, persuaded his actor pal Rick Hoffman to appear. He was starring in Suits at the time.

    Meghan and Prince Harry have revealed their charity, the Archewell Foundation, will fund food kitchens in disaster zones as its first major project.

    MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry are partnering with Chef Jose Andrés' World Central Kitchen to fund four new relief service centres.

    The aim of the partnership is to help the organization deliver on its goal of feeding people in disaster zones.

    The couple is making the donation through their Archewell Foundation.

    The first center will open Domenica, which was battered by Hurricanes Maria and Irma in 2017, sometime next year. The second center will be built in Puerto Rico.
