The price-friendly supermarket unveiled its quirky new range on Facebook today.
The battery-powered LED lights, which are in stores now, come in four designs: flamingos, pineapples, ice lollies and palm trees.
They can be hung inside or out and are perfect for garden parties and barbecues.
A photograph of the flamingo lights caused a frenzy on social media.
“OMG I need the flamingo ones!” wrote one excited shopper, while another said: “Need to make a trip to Lidl!”
