I'm a female electrician – male trolls say I'm bad at my job but I'm living my best life and love the guys I work with | The Sun
WHILE it’s unpleasant to hear sexist comments about your job, one woman has said she doesn’t let the haters get her down.
She loves her career and the people she works with, even if it’s considered a “man’s field.”
Nikki Panton (@nikkipanton), a female electrician, has a passion for wiring and often shares tidbits of her trade on TikTok.
She said that because she’s in a male-dominated industry, some people question her skills.
“Guys in the comments saying I’m s*** at my job,” she began in the clip, with her hair in a messy bun and wearing thick eyeglasses.
Her response to the "bullies"?
The Canadian redhead mouthed along to the voiceover that said: “Oh well, karma is a b****.”
When the frame changed, she appeared transformed, with her long locks blowing in the wind and a full face of makeup.
“Me living my best life, doing the job I love, with a company who appreciates me.”
She also thanked the haters for giving her “tons of views” as they spewed negativity on her TikToks.

Although the bad remarks tend to stand out more than the good ones, Nikki reassured her viewers that there are men who view her as equal.
“Shout out to all the nice guys who know how to treat each other with respect,” she captioned the clip.
In the comments, people showed support for her lifestyle.
“Super gorgeous. Guys are lucky to work with you,” one person wrote.
“Respect for you. Women like you in technical jobs make our work much more fun,” added another, to which Nikki said she agreed: “If I had to work with only women every day idk if it would be the same. I love working with guys. We have lots of fun at work.”
