A MUM has discovered a savvy cleaning hack to help get the kids' clothes and trainers sparkling white. 

Kate Jackson washes her children's clothes in the washing machine – but instead of only using a normal washing detergent she added a surprising trick. 

She claims it helps to bring clothes back to their original bright white with no sign of dirt on them. 

In the video, shared to her TikTok, Kate wrote: “Life hack for grubby children wearing white.” 

Kate first starts off by loading the washing machine with the kids' clothing.

She then adds a dishwasher tablet straight into the washing machine.

In the comments section, Kate then explained that she still used power and softener “as normal” but added a cheap dishwasher table in there as well.

Hundreds of people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts. 

One wrote: “Thanks for the tip.” 

Someone else shared another tip for cleaning toilets.

To which Kate replied: “No it’s true honestly. Only use on white though. Works amazingly.”
