WHEN you fall in love with an outfit – but not the price tag – it’s hard to get it out of your head.

But one keen shopper has revealed how she decided to shop around for a similar item to the dress she’d spotted – and save herself over £100 in the process.

TikTok account house_on_the_crescent posted a video to her account to show how the original Whistles green maxi she had her heart set on compared to the bargain she’d picked up in Primark.

Alongside footage of the floaty, tiered maxi on a model in the shop, she explained: “When you see a gorgeous dress in Whistles window for £129.”

The footage then cut to a very similar looking tiered dress with spaghetti straps hanging in her home.

She continued: “But you find an almost identical one in Primark for £18.”
