I converted a van into a tiny home on wheels – I have a proper shower and everything tucks away, even the stove | The Sun
A VAN life fan has shown off her home on wheels, which looks a lot more luxe on the inside than it does on the outside.
She gave a tour of her converted tiny home, which she set up to include a working kitchen, storage, and even a hidden litter box for their two cats.
Scarlet and Seth (@scarletandseth) have been living the so-called van life lifestyle for four years.
In one video, Scarlet took TikTok followers on a tour through their converted van, first showing off the divider that separated the driver and passenger seats from the living area.
"The divider wall gives us access from the cab to the shower and living space," she said.
While the tiny home on wheels has some cozy and compact touches, Scarlet did list some challenges she's faced along the way, such as having a fixed shower for the first time in four years.
A minimalist home approach also means that everything must have a dual purpose.
"We have a bug screen and when it's closed we have a sliding window," Scarlet added.
With two cats, the couple added a bench that also turns into a full-sized litter box.
This tiny home dweller also showed the couple's hidden-from-view propane stove, which "easily tucks back in when we're not using it," she explained.

Fancy touches include a gold faucet and storage for everything they need — after all, small doesn't mean you have to skimp on space.
This tiny home features plenty of storage, recycling bins, an oven, and multiple outlets.
Compact homes also offer space for more creativity. As Scarlet pointed out: "We added a fifth cushion to our U-bench to create more of a pit couch."
That functional couch converts into a bed and has an enviable skylight right above it, complete with a blackout shade.
All of their batteries and other necessary items live under the bench.
They also have a fully stocked refrigerator and recycling bins.
The back of the van has a ladder spare tire mount, which is important when your tiny home is also your ride.
In the video, Scarlett also climbed the ladder that leads to their walkable solar deck.
Many fans have commented on their genius use of space, with one TikToker saying: "This is the best, most practical van conversion I've ever seen."
