The newly announced Lovers & Friends Festival recently revealed its impressive lineup.
To be headlined by Usher, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Ludacris, Lil’ Jon, and TLC, the R&B/Hip-Hop festival has come under fire after several artists on the announced lineup took to social media to alert fans they are not a part of the festival.
“This is so fake. I am not a part of this,” rapper Lil Kim wrote on Instagram.
As the rumors spread, Snoop Dogg, one of the organizers of the festival, raised his voice on the situation and shared that though there was a misunderstanding with “Lil Kim’s people,” the other artists on the lineup are “100% confirmed.”
The lineup also includes new acts such as Summer Walker, Jhené Aiko, Sean Paul, and Ja Rule + Fat Joe, among others.
To be held at The Grounds in Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles on May 9, pre-sale for the event began on Thursday.
