Ozzy Osbourne‘s wife Sharon says her husband is improving health-wise, and confirmed that the metal icon is once again working with Andrew Watt on a new album.
“He’s had a terrible, terrible injury. At one point they thought he would never walk again, but he is. He’s walking and he’s doing great,” Sharon said on Steve-O‘s “Wild Ride” podcast.
Ozzy had a spinal injury from a fall and is also suffering from Parkinson’s disease, which forced the singer to cancel his farewell tour.
“He’s been hit by so much medically, but he is doing good. He’s getting stronger every day,” added Sharon, who is also Ozzy’s manager.
“He’s starting his second album with Andrew Watt right now. And you can’t stop him. He’s doing it,” Sharon told the Jackass film star, referring to the follow-up to Ordinary Man.
Regarding the chances of reviving Ozzy’s farewell tour, Sharon said, “He said it’s not going to end just like that. He’s going to go back out, and even if it’s just one huge show to say goodbye, he’s going to do it.”
The rescheduled No More Tours 2 tour was set to kick off in May but has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
