Patty Perez’s daughter Priscilla told TMZ she died in hospital on Friday night. She was being treated for complications related to type one diabetes. She added her mum’s kidneys were failing, the result of her life-long struggle with her health.

Patty featured in Jackass 2 in 2006 and 2.5 the following year.

As part of the movie, she made Wee Man – American stunt performer Jason Acuña – disappear.

She went on to star in an episode of My Big Fat Fetish.

Priscilla said of her mum’s death: “We want to express our immense gratitude for the love and kindness everyone has shown to our mom.

“Being able to entertain and bring light and happiness to people was the highlight of her life.

“She was so proud of the work she did in the film industry.”

Her daughter has set up a Go Fund Me page to help cover funeral costs.

So far, they have reached $2,425 of their $6,000 target.

Patty’s death comes a year after Jackass star Stevie Lee died aged 54.

He appeared in Johnny Knoxville’s comedy film Jackass 3D and was known in the ring as Puppet.

At the time, his death was reported as “unexpectedly at home”.

His family said in a statement: “Puppet has put smiles across the world with his hardcore attitude and lifestyle. He is a legend in the art of Midget Wrestling.

“Please donate what you can, share his memories with everyone, and share this fundraiser to give the Psycho Dwarf the best resting place possible.

“All proceeds will be given to Jim Richardson to handle the services/burial costs.

“Thank you all so much and Puppet, we love you brother!”

In the film, Lee performed a stunt that involved pulling a gun on fellow TNA wrestler, Jeff Jarrett.
