Melissa Rivers debuts custom necklace in honor of late mother Joan

Four years after Joan Rivers’ death, her daughter Melissa is honoring the late style icon with a very special piece of jewelry.

Rivers, 50, posted a picture of her custom-made necklace to social media on Tuesday. The piece features a gold pendant decorated with a ring of colorful stones and inscribed with “WWJS” — which stands for “What Would Joan Say?,” according to Melissa’s tweet.

The piece is a fitting tribute to the late Rivers, who was known both for her brash humor and opulent fashion choices. Last year, Melissa released a book entitled “Joan Rivers Confidential,” which includes letters written to and from Joan and the likes of Tom Hanks, David Letterman, Bo Derek and Meryl Streep.
