Megan Fox has slammed rumours that Machine Gun Kelly was unfaithful in their relationship.
The actress has been at the centre of headlines this week after hinting at a potential breakup with her fiancé.
In a cryptic Instagram post, just days before she deactivated her account entirely, the 36-year-old shared a series of photos and a video of an envelope being burned in a fire pit.
She captioned it with the lyrics from Beyoncé's Lemonade 2016 song Pray You Catch Me, thought to be about Jay-Z’s alleged affair, writing: “You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath”.
Before disappearing from the app altogether, Megan also hinted at a split with the musician when she unfollowed everyone except for Harry Styles, Timothee Chalamet and Eminem, who has publicly feuded with MGK for years.
But Megan has now set the record straight, returning to Instagram on Sunday to post a statement.
“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind,” she wrote in the notes app of her phone before screenshotting it and sharing with her 20 million followers.
“That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons.
“While I do not hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”
All of her photos on the account remain deleted, including all traces of MGK and the post where they announced their engagement.
Megan also turned the comments off from her latest post.
According to People, Megan was also absent from the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl Party on Saturday night where MGK performed, just a day after attending Drake’s party together.
It led to multiple reports that Megan found text messages on his phone which led to her believing that he was having an affair.
Other rumours included that MGK, who’s real name is Colson Baker, had got together with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd.
Meanwhile, MGK last posted on Instagram at the end of January, wearing jeans with broken hearts all over them and a fluffy white hat.
The couple first met on the scene of indie thriller movie Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020, later confirming their relationship in July.
They then got engaged in January 2022, after MGK, 32, got down on one knee in a romantic proposal in Puerto Rico.
