Matt Goss, 54, has taken to social media and stunned fans with news about his return to Strictly. In a spoiler warning tweet, the star addressed his 133,100 followers.
It comes a few weeks after the Bros singer was eliminated from the competition after revealing he had put his “heart and soul” into his dances.
In his post, he left a slightly cryptic message to his fans implying he would be returning in some capacity, though how exactly he would be making his comeback was left unclear.
Matt wrote: “#StrictlySpoiler I’m going back in!”
In the comments, @Suisseme penned: “Haven’t watched since Matt was voted off.”
In response to the user, @Sazinthedon replied saying they were “missing out.”
She said: “You’ve missed some amazing dances from Hamza,” referring to Countryfile presenter Hamza Yassin.
Other fans weren’t sure if Matt was having them on.
@Lisa1979Marie wrote: “What?! I can’t tell if you are being serious or not.”
@BossettKay said: “Lmao: You’ve joined the #StrictlySpoiler thread, with the rest of us.”
Towards the end of his stint on the show, Matt and partner Nadiya Bychkova had to perform their Jive to All Shook Up by Paul McCartney again while Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima danced their Samba to Volare by Gipsy Kings for a second time.
After the two performances, Matt was eliminated from the competition.
After finding out he was in the dreaded dance-off for a second time, Matt told Tess Daly: “It’s emotional you put your heart and soul in it.”
Following the judges’ decision, Matt praised his partner Nadiya.
Opening up on his time on the show, Matt said: “It’s an extraordinary experience, I have been in America for 25 years.
“Thank you judges for your candour, you’ve helped me in many ways, my posture – Anton, I am more aware of it.
“This lovely lady beside me, a world champion with all the patience. I am very honoured to have danced with you, and everyone who is still in, I love you guys, go smash it guys.”
Turning to her partner, Nadiya added: “First I’m so grateful that I got to teach and dance with a music icon.
“But, more important than this, I got the privilege to get to know Matt, for who you really are.
“Not many people know you and you’re a beautiful soul, very kind human and a real gentleman.”
