Martha Stewart fans can now own a piece of her TV home.
The lifestyle guru is auctioning off 5,000 pieces from her personal prop collection next month, she announced on Twitter Wednesday.
“If you want a piece from my prop house — items from my television shows and magazine shoots — you just may be in luck. Kaminski Auctions is selling about 5000 pieces from my personal prop collection,” she tweeted. “The auction is scheduled in May.”
The absentee portion of the auction is currently going on at the Kaminski website. Among the 800 items currently up for bid are a collection of mid-century China (expected to fetch $200-300), an Italian-style amber glass chandelier ($200-250) and, perhaps most exciting of all, a signed toboggan ($500-800).
Live bidding starts May 5, and will last two days. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Martha Stewart Center For Living at Mount Sinai.
